Sally Head - Owner / Head Coach

Sally HeadSally Head is the owner of LaGrange Adventure Boot Camp and an avid fitness enthusiast.  Health and fitness has always been part of Sally's life and she has decided, after over 20 years in corporate America, to make it her business as well.  Sally founded Active Souls, Inc in 2009 which is dedicated to helping women improve their life through fitness and nutrition.

Sally is an accomplished running and triathlon coach helping women (and men) finish their dream of completing running races from 5K to marathon and triathlons from sprint to Ironman distance.  Over the past 10 years, Sally has trained over 300 people to run the Chicago Marathon.

As a marathon runner and Ironman Triathlete, Sally spent years struggling to balance family and a corporate career while making health and fitness a priority.  With competing priorities (Sally is a Vegan who worked for the Golden Arches!), she has chosen to spend the next chapter in her life helping women figure out what it will take for them to be healthy and happy.

Sally is a Certified Life Coach, Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coach, Certified USA Triathlon Coach, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor.  Sally's strength is in helping women see their potential while building their confidence through fitness and nutrition. Sally's positive, optimistic nature helps women accomplish things they never thought possible.

Sally is passionate about living a healthy life and encourages everyone she meets to follow their path to wellness.

Jean Sotos - Licensed Massage Therapist

Jean Sotos, owner and sole practitioner at Mindful Massage in Western Springs, is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a goal.   She strives to bring Massage Therapy into the realm of Proactive Health Care, rejecting the longstanding perception that massage is strictly for the luxury seeking vacationer.  She finds the body’s ability to heal itself a constant source of fascination, and facilitating relief from physical discomfort and dysfunction endlessly rewarding.

Before graduating in 2008 from Cortiva, Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Jean had received literally hundreds of hours of bodywork.  This vast experience as a client gave her insight into what massage can bring to a person’s wellbeing, as well as being the catalyst for her career passion.

Among her Continuing Education since school, Jean has studied Massage Implications for Cancer Patients, Clinical Approaches to Low Back and Shoulder Dysfunction,  Myofascial Release and Reflexology.  Beginning summer 2011, she looks forward to adding Neuromuscular Techniques, which are known to bring faster pain relief to many chronic conditions.
